Walmart Funding the LA Riots?

First, what? Walmart is funding riots in LA? This can’t be true—not for an American company like Walmart.

So, who runs Walmart currently? Christy Walton, who inherited her late husband John T. Walton’s fortune, is one of the primary shareholders in the company. As of 2025, her net worth is estimated to be around $17.8 billion, according to sources like Forbes and Bloomberg.

So, what are her political views? Have a look below. I’m going to go out on a limb and say she hates Trump and all he stands for.

Support for Democratic Candidates and Causes: Walton has donated to Democratic presidential candidates, including $25,000 to Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper in 2020. She also co-hosted a fundraiser for Vice President Kamala Harris in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, in September 2024, with ticket prices ranging from $1,250 to $100,000, indicating strong support for the Democratic ticket.

Contributions to Anti-Trump Groups: Walton has been a significant donor to The Lincoln Project, an anti-Trump super-PAC founded by former Republicans. She donated $20,000 in January 2020, followed by $45,000 later that year, and an additional $50,000 in a subsequent cycle, totaling at least $115,000. She also gave $150,000 to a group supporting Senate Democrats.

2025 New York Times Ad: In March 2025, Walton placed a full-page ad in The New York Times and local newspapers, featuring the Statue of Liberty and statements like “We honor our commitments and stand by our allies,” “We defend against aggression by dictators,” and “The honor, dignity, and integrity of our country is not for sale.” The ad urged Americans to engage in town halls and be civil. While Walton’s representatives claimed the ad was nonpartisan, many interpreted it as a critique of Trump’s policies, particularly his proposed 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico and his approach to foreign relations.

Alleged “Day of Defiance” Ad: Recent posts on X claim Walton funded a June 2025 ad campaign in major newspapers calling for a “nationwide day of defiance” and urging people to “rise up” against Trump on June 14.

Hmm, this all seems suspicious. The people rioting appear coordinated and funded. Don’t they have day jobs? Wait, what’s this?

LA Fox News Anchor Elex Michaelson.

Well, well, where can I purchase the UVEX Bionic Face Shields in bulk? Oh, snap, they’re at Walmart! Are they getting ready for June 14, fully funded by Christy Walton? Inquiring minds would like to know.

And have a look at this one, LA Craigslist.
