Epstein Phase 1?

On February 27, 2025, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) unveiled “The Epstein Files: Phase 1,” a collection of documents shedding light on Jeffrey Epstein’s activities. The release included:

  • Flight Logs: Spanning 236 pages, these records detail passenger manifests from Epstein’s infamous private jet, dubbed the “Lolita Express.” While the logs name travelers, much of this data echoes prior leaks and court disclosures, offering little fresh insight.
  • Redacted Contact Book: This 95-page address book lists names and some contact information from Epstein’s network, though extensive redactions protect individual privacy. Familiar figures like Michael Jackson, Prince Andrew, and Mick Jagger appear—names already publicized in a 2021 version of Epstein’s “black book,” which was later auctioned.
  • Masseuse List: A concise 7-page document, entirely redacted to safeguard victim identities, it catalogs individuals purportedly linked to Epstein’s massage-related operations.
  • Evidence List: Comprising 3 pages, this inventory logs items confiscated from Epstein’s New York and U.S. Virgin Islands residences. Notable entries include a CD marked “girl pics nude book 4” and a folder labeled “LSJ logbook” (presumably tied to Little St. James, his island). Though previously unreleased, these items add minimal new understanding of his broader circle.

Totaling 341 pages, the release was first presented to a select group of conservative influencers at the White House before its online debut via the DOJ.

Public and critical reception has been lukewarm, with many decrying the absence of groundbreaking revelations. The documents largely rehash previously circulated leaks, falling short of expectations for a definitive “client list” or explosive evidence against prominent figures. Attorney General Pam Bondi admitted the files were mostly recycled leaks, never before officially disclosed by the government. She further alleged that the FBI is holding back thousands of additional pages, issuing a demand for their submission by February 28, 2025—though the potential contents of these withheld documents remain a mystery.

Per BBC “The US Attorney General has accused federal investigators of withholding thousands of documents related to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and asked the FBI to release all the information by Friday morning without any omissions.

In a public letter, Attorney General Pam Bondi asked FBI director Kash Patel to also investigate why thousands of documents related to Epstein probe were withheld by the agency.”

Letter from Attorney General Pamela Bondi to FBI Director Kash Patel:
